We can provide as many fire extinguishers as you need to keep your premises safe.
We can provide extinguishers on a short or long term basis, providing a weekly rental service or even a monthly rental period. For extremely short term we can even provide weekend rental.
Servicing your fire extinguishers annually is required by the Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) 2005. This is to ensure that they are effective in case of an emergency.
We can arrange a visit from our fully qualified engineer who will check all of your extinguishers and then give you clear and concise advice on what your next steps should be.
Unlike some, our engineer has no pressure to make any particular monetary targets from a maintenance visit and will only make a proposal for work deemed necessary which will then only be carried out if given permission to do so.
If you have any questions regarding the maintenance of your fire extinguishers, please contact us and we will gladly talk to you about the process.
Fire Blankets are used when it is impractical to use a fire extinguisher.
We supply glass fiber fire blankets with an inner layer of fire retardant film suitable for industrial and domestic use.
Smaller blankets are perfect for domestic or commercial kitchens where cooking oil fires may occur while our larger blankets are ideal for companies that have staff that work with flammable liquids as they can be used to wrap a person who is on fire and effectively smother the fire.
Sizes: 1.1m2, 1.2m2, 1.8m x 1.2m available in red or white.
British Standard document BS5499-4:2000 recommends that, for means of escape route signage to be effective, it is important that from any place within a building occupants should have sight of a sign, or series of signs, that lead them to a place of safety.
We can supply a full range of safety signage from Exit signs to hazard warning signs.
Non-addressable (conventional) fire alarm panels of 1, 2, 4, 8 or more zones for use in small, medium and large sized establishments which include a three hour battery backup in case of power failure.
Manual call points (break glass units) are red and available for both indoor and outdoor locations.
A variety of methods of fire detection are available for use with the addressable panels. Optical or ionisation smoke detectors, heat detectors (650C-1000C) and beam detectors are just a few examples.
Conventional fire bells are available for both indoor and outdoor locations. Electronic sounders strobes are available individually or as combined units.
When a fire alarm is activated the magnetic locks are released to allow fire doors to close in accordance with current Fire Regulations. Failure to comply with these regulations can result in enormous fines against the company.
Emergency lights are activated when there is a loss of electrical supply to the premises, illuminating emergency exit routes for 3 hours. Available in 8w, 16w and 24w. Maintained or non-maintained.
We supply all required hardware for fire doors. From locks, push bars and self closers to hinges and catches.
Current Fire Regulations require that all dry risers must be maintained and tested at periodic intervals.
